Thank you Kaimiloa

I first walked into Kaimiloa 5 years ago to do a training on google docs, I met a bunch of you and still remember that training. I remember Tamie had on this crazy looking hat, I remember Deb falling asleep in the back while I was talking and I don't remember this, but CC said I scared her for life because I would pick a veteran teacher over a new teacher to learn google docs. (sorry cc). From that crazy day, I knew I was destined to teach here at Kaimiloa.  Four years later its time to say goodbye.  There's no one reason I'm leaving, at most it's just time for me to seek out a new opportunity and to try something new.  I wish I was the type of person who could be happy staying at one school but there's this adventurous itch in me which won't let me stay put.  So thank you for all the memories and think of me the next time you can't find something in google docs with those loving words "Frickin Chad!" I'll miss you guys.  Chad Nacapuy Proud to

Aloha

We would like to thank Vice Principal Chad Nacapuy  for his stay with us these past 4 years as a Technology Instructional Specialist and Vice Principal and bid him Aloha as he moves on to a new school.  Chad will be taking on a Vice Principalship at Helemano Elementary School next year in Central District.   During his stay with us at Ka`imiloa, he was instrumental in supporting us with Google Classroom implementation and technology implementation. As a CISL trainee and later a certified Vice Principal, Chad took on the myriad of roles a beginning school administrator has in not only facility and operational management, but also in curriculum/instruction and assessment.  We know he will take these skills to Helemano Elementary School too and grow even further as a school administrator. Personnel will be posting his vacancy on June 15 and hopefully we will have a new Vice Principal in place prior to the beginning of the school year.  I know our Ka`imiloa Ohana, inclusive of not only our

Construction Update

F-building fans have been installed. The fans work with a remote. Remotes should have been left on your desk. The beam of the remote is very narrow therefore the remote must be pointed at each fan individually to turn on and off. I have only had a quick demo from the installers so if you learn how to turn all on and off at the same time please share. The fans also have a light which can be used instead of the current lights to prevent flickering. The lights don't seem very strong but at least they are able to be turned on and off individually allowing you to have the front of the room dark and the back lighted.  Construction for ceiling fans has now moved to the portables. They will be in the portables this week and possibly next week installing ceiling fans.  Chad Confidentiality Notice:  This e-mail message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and/or privileged information.  Any review, use, disclosure, or

Lost envelope

Does anyone recognize this? Found it on one of our table in F10. It looks like part of a game similar to "I have, who has" or a scavenger hunt-type of game.
