Re: Choose Love Rocks

Aloha KES Ohana,

The Choose Love rock painting station has been moved upstairs to the Makerspace Lab in F11/12 today.  Please feel free to come and finish up your rocks if you haven't yet done so! The painted rocks that were left on the table downstairs to dry, are also upstairs.  Please come and pick them up if they belong to you.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Subject: Choose Love Rocks

Aloha Family!

We want to thank everyone for their full participation in all of our activities this past week as we prepare for the most important people in our school.  Our Students are fortunate to have Teachers with hearts as big as the ocean!  We hope you will find more joy than stress in the days to come.  When we "choose love" we know we can have a huge impact on learning in the classroom.

We are in the process of ordering new school shirts and would like to send a picture of our staff with them on and also capture a shot of the rocks we have created "from the heart" to share with Scarlett Lewis.  We are leaving the rock painting station in the work room until the end of Monday so you can finish your works of art.  After Monday, there will be a station in our Makerspace for those who would like the opportunity to complete their project or created more love rocks.  Thank you Amy!

We will keep them on display until Monday so Kristin can see some of the inspiration following Scarlett's message.  After Monday, you are free to keep them for yourself as a reminder or share them with someone you believe would appreciate your message of encouragement.

Thank you everyone for your kindness toward each other.  May it have a ripple effect on our students and beyond.   Have a wonderful year!

Deb, Laura, and Chad
