As we begin this new school year, please note any students you might have in your classroom who need uniforms and/or school supplies. We have a surplus of new uniforms (Size Small and Medium/Large) donated to us on hand. There are many times our families may have only enough funds to purchase a couple of t-shirts and during the rainy season, it's difficult to wash and dry the t-shirts with enough time for students to have a clean t-shirt to wear each day. Pls. let your VP know if this is the case with any of your students as we can get the t-shirts for them. If students wear smaller shirts than what we have on hand, we can also order smaller sizes with our school funds.
See counselors if you notice students are running out of school supplies as we have donations for those items too.
No child should be excluded from field trips as it is an extension and enrichment of lessons going on in classrooms. We have funds for those students whom you know can not attend a field trip because of financial difficulties.

Restating just for clarification Greater than .90 High correlation means that there is a definite relationship between performance on iReady and SBA Between .6 and .9 Medium correlation means there might be some relationship or connection between how well a student does on iReady is predictive as to how well they will do on SBA Less than .6 Little correlation means scores on both assessments have no relationship at all to each other I look forward to working with you folks on the 18th a...
