Thank you to all our Ohana volunteers yesterday afternoon and evening in helping to make our Choose Love parent evening a huge success. The parents who did come to the presentation were very much appreciative of the message Scarlett shared with everyone. I have never in my entire career working at Kaimiloa saw a whole line of parents who stood waiting to speak to our featured speaker. Even as the line shortened, more parents stood up to share their hearts with Scarlett one to one. True compassion in action was displayed by our families who attended.
There was such a short turnaround to put this event on and I am grateful for the amount of support we got from our staff in making this event happen even though Hurricane Olivia seemed intent on interfering with our plans. Some of our volunteers may not be in the picture below which was taken at the end of session with Scarlett so I wanted to give a shout-out to all who stayed to help with the meal service, coordination and child-care.

Restating just for clarification Greater than .90 High correlation means that there is a definite relationship between performance on iReady and SBA Between .6 and .9 Medium correlation means there might be some relationship or connection between how well a student does on iReady is predictive as to how well they will do on SBA Less than .6 Little correlation means scores on both assessments have no relationship at all to each other I look forward to working with you folks on the 18th a...
