Dear Kaimiloa Elementary Parents and Guardians,
This letter is to inform you about an incident that occurred at approximately 9:27 a.m. today. Classrooms went into lockdown as a safety precaution due to a pursuit by the Honolulu Police Department. The lockdown was lifted at approximately 9:32 a.m.
I would like to commend our students, parents, teachers and staff for their cooperation. The well-being of our students is a community effort and we appreciate your help as we work together to keep our campus safe and secure.
