Subject: Visual aids to remind students of speech skills
Hi all-
I created some visual aids to remind students of target speech skills and promote better communication skills, e.g.:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10r-TfoSBH299HA9J21qBorpstWnPJNRF?usp=sharing
One chart has a learning target & success criteria.
The other visual aid is much simpler (and cuter!).
Feel free to print and use in the classroom. Suggestions: briefly review reminders before activity that involves verbal presentations or class discussions & refer to visual aid, as needed during activity. E.g. if student is speaking to rapidly while commenting, point to turtle picture to non-verbally remind student to slow down.
Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions to improve these aids.
Thanks so much!
Sincerely,
Mary Pescador

Subject: Visual aids to remind students of speech skills
Hi all-
I created some visual aids to remind students of target speech skills and promote better communication skills, e.g.:
- Slow rate of speech
- Adequate volume
- Eye contact
- Include all sounds & syllables
