Staff Development Agenda for 10-24-18

Good Afternoon Kaimiloa Teachers!

Here's the agenda for tomorrow's Staff Development with Kara Vandas (Corwin):

We are learning ...

  • how to connect Essential Standards, Learning Intentions & Success Criteria, and assessment tools to create a body of evidence about student learning

Success Criteria:

  • Be able to explain what it looks like to create a body of evidence about student learning aligned to Essential Standards

  • Develop an assessment plan for both pre and post, as well as formative assessments for an Essential Standard

  • Develop one assessment tool collaboratively with the team that will be used in the classroom


You will need to bring:
- laptop
- LISC for Essential Standards selected for the 3 units of study (slides w/selected Essential Standards)
- Assessments for the Essential Standards (if you have them)

Correlations from iReady to SBA analysis

As we dig deeper into iReady implementation this year, I wanted our District Resource teacher Daniel Noia to pull some data for us correlating SBA and iReady data.  Below are his findings.  This may help grade levels who are looking at iReady scores and goal planning for their classes. New Xerox D95 Machine

Hello, Our New Xerox D95 machine is in and ready to use. Please start to use the machine during the summer. The new machine is black and white is should be used for all the high volume print jobs.  We created user accounts for all users. Your code will be the last four of your employee ID #.  You can start to make copies on both machines.
