Choose Love Forgiveness

Aloha Ka'imiloa 'Ohana & Hau'oli Makahiki Hou,

This Quarter we are rolling out our next Choose Love ingredient...FORGIVENESS. We are teaching students that forgiveness is choosing to let go of anger and resentment toward yourself or someone else.  This link is our ASL sign for Forgiveness.

Here is some of the things us Resource peeps will be up to:

Art
- 3rd and up going to do awareness videos incorporating forgiveness
- Lower grades are going to express emotions through dance

P.E.
- Using journals to build stronger connection between LT and what they're learning in Guidance/Choose Love
- Reinforcing conflict resolution strategies like STAR (Stop, Think, Act, Review) in real world situation

Hawaiian Studies
- Malama - taking care of land, themselves, and ohana.
- Next Month - Ho'oponopono, strategy of forgiving ourselves and others

Guidance
- Visible representation of what it feels/looks like when you are holding onto anger

As we dig deeper into iReady implementation this year, I wanted our District Resource teacher Daniel Noia to pull some data for us correlating SBA and iReady data.  Below are his findings.  This may help grade levels who are looking at iReady scores and goal planning for their classes. New Xerox D95 Machine

Hello, Our New Xerox D95 machine is in and ready to use. Please start to use the machine during the summer. The new machine is black and white is should be used for all the high volume print jobs.  We created user accounts for all users. Your code will be the last four of your employee ID #.  You can start to make copies on both machines.
