Fwd: Alu Likehanai A Ulu-Foster Grandparent program



Hi teachers,
I'm writing to you to see if anyone would be interested in partnering with the Foster Grandparent program. This program will provide a grandparent tutor to your classroom on a weekly basis. 

This is not someone who comes in and sits in the back, watches and assists as necessary. This is a trained volunteer who will be assigned students by you with specific things to work on such as emotional, cognitive or social concerns. It would require time on your part to meet, prepare and evaluate the performance of the volunteer but it would also provide you with valuable assistance for students in need.
