This is the time of the year when in looking at the data, we sometimes get discouraged and feel as though no matter how hard we are working, we can not see the improvements we are making. I wanted to share with you the trend data that looks at data points over time to share with you the real progress we are making over time. In a nutshell, these are some highlights of the SY 17-18 SY Trend Report.

While overall our CK Complex schools have been getting lower scores in Math and is considered a focus area at all schools in CK, Kaimiloa has been increasing our math scores steadily over the years, rather than going down. Although our overall school's ELA score is still 12% below CK Average, we also are making gains in those areas. I know that grade levels are looking at their latest data from iReady and am encouraging everyone to take a look at your goal setting and see if there are adjustments that need to be made now that we are heading well into second semester. I have every confidence we will continue to make upward gains this school year. Thank you all for your hard work and focus on supporting all of our students in reaching their goals.
