Yeah - Thank you Laura. She attended the musical performance at Ilima on Saturday afternoon when a fight broke out between two men, right outside the door where she was standing. Both men were on the ground. Michelle Suzuki, who is our complex area School Renewal Specialist and Laura stayed on scene, alerted Principal Bonilla and only left after police were called and order was restored.
A Vice Principal's work is 24/7 and sometimes extends beyond our school campus into another school's boundary. Shout out to Laura who also said the musical was very well performed.

Subject: Follow Up re: Saturday's Incident
Hi Sean,
I just met with Ilima's Royale Club advisors to debrief last Saturday's incident.
Ilima's future Drama performances will be on April 24, 25, May 1 and 2 in 2020.
I will allow overtime for SSAs to cover future events such as these drama performances. Although there was one already present, I believe having two SSAs is needed.
Mahalo to Kaimiloa Elementary VP Laura Nakamura and to Michelle Suzuki! They were instrumental in keeping the peace with adults and children who were wondering what happened after the incident. I really appreciate your support.
